My daughter and husband are vegetarian and vegan, and overall the whole resort could benefit from some more inclusive and modern food selections. Tado was closed the night we were available to go, but I didn't see any vegetarian options on the menu anyway. Not as large or as impressive variety as Mystic Lake, but far better than Turtle Lake or Old Country Buffet. The buffet and casino decor is terrific, very Vegas-like. The wi-fi was very spotty, my daughter was constantly moving around and even out the hallway sitting area for a better connection. We also wished there would have been an outlet near the beds/nightstand for our phones. The decor was very nice and modern, not new but quite nice, spacious, large bathroom, soft beds (although a few flatter pillows would have been appreciated). The clerk went out of her way to help us with a discount. Check in was very friendly and efficient. I took my 14 year old daughter here for a mother-daughter 2 night getaway. Unfortunate because the idea of a waterpark (for the kids) attached to a hotel with a casino (for the grown-ups) would have been an ideal mini vacation for our family. Nice looking place, but we won't be recommending. That makes me question how clean the rest of the room really was. We found old soda bottles under the guest seating chair in our room. The hotel was nice, but the rooms were not worth the $175 a night. Poop accidents happen (kids will be kids), but the fact that they never disclosed that a large portion of the waterpark was closed was really disappointing to us. The remaining section of the waterpark was also closed due to a child pooping in the wave pool. They were, however they never told me on the phone that 3/4 of the waterpark would be closed under construction. I called the hotel to book our room to ensure that the waterpark was for sure open and that armbands would be included with our stay. My husband and I recently visited this resort with our 4 year old son because of the new water park attraction.
